There is the perception that everyone who takes public transit is
economically challenged. Not true.
According to the City of
Burlington’s website, transit users are:
- the young who are not old enough
to drive,
- the senior who is no longer willing or able to drive,
- the
disabled,
- the economically challenged
- people like me who chose not
to drive.
Many people on transit have a car but use transit for some of
their trips on a regular basis. As an example, many people use Burlington Transit to get to and from the GO Stations daily.
